Vendor Policies
We are pleased to welcome vendors who offer locally grown produce, seedlings, handmade items, and baked goods. Specific areas are set aside for those looking to sell their products or provide services at the market. Please avoid political or signature booths. Elkhorn Shores has the right to cancel any vendor registration if they do not conduct themselves in a friendly and composed manner.
Each vendor will be provided with a 10x10 space and is responsible for bringing their own equipment and supplies, such as tables, chairs, tents, generators, and cash boxes. Vendors are also encouraged to showcase signage that includes their business name and product prices.
Pets must be kept on a leash and well-behaved at all times. They should not be disruptive or pose a threat to other vendors or guests.
Set-up/Parking/Clean-up
We kindly request that all vendors be set up and ready to sell by 9:30 a.m. Vehicles must be moved from market area by 9:15 a.m. Please plan your unloading and setup accordingly. If your market stall is located on the grass, please do not drive your vehicle onto the event lawn.
Vendor Parking is available in the back parking lot. (Accommodations for our disabled vendors can be provided with previous notice -email: info@elkhornshores.com).
We ask that all vendors stay in their space, even is all product is sold-out until the event closes to keep the area safe for all guests and vendors.
Vendors must completely clean their booth space at the end of market, including transporting trash to the provided dumpsters.
Legal Info
Vendors are required to be knowledgeable about the local, state, and federal laws that apply to the products they sell.
All sampling activities must comply with the Douglas County Health Department regulations. You can find the guidelines and application for a retail farmer's market permit at www.douglascountyhealth.com.
In addition, vendors are responsible for the collection, reporting, and payment of their own sales tax.
